Moose Bag Testimonials

Ian Lyons put a prototype Moose Bag on my pipes in August 2007. I instantly found the bag comfortable to play and extremely airtight. My drones now sit properly on my shoulder and combined with the shape and feel of the bag (under my arm) I am reminded of the days when I played a hide bag.

There are two other aspects of the Moose Bag that I love:-

1. The angle of the blowpipe stock allows the blowpipe to always remain properly positioned - no more fighting to hold it in place; and

2. The chanter stock allows the chanter to hang freely - in a comfortable playing position.

I will recommend the Moose Bag to anyone.

When I was in the market for a new synthetic bag for my solo piping Ian Lyons put me on to the Moose Bag. I have never looked back!!

The performance of the bag is amazing with comfort like I've never had before. I was so impressed with the bag that I now use one for my day to day work as a piper with the Victoria Police Pipe Band, with close to 200 performances a year.

I now recommend the Moose Bag to anyone who asks.

I received a new Moose Bag in early December 2007.

I put the bag on to my work pipes and instantly felt a major difference between what I had been playing. The main improvement for me was the position of the chanter. There was almost no pressure against my hands whilst I was playing which made my hands feel free.

The drones sat neatly on my shoulder in the correct position and the blowpipe was right there!!

The Moose Bag is the most comfortable bag I've ever played!!

Thanks a million for puting me on to your Moose Bag.

It is, without a doubt, the most comfortable pipe bag I have used in my 43 years of playing. The stock grommets are aligned perfectly when the bag is inflated, thus, allowing the drones to lie on their optimum angle when playing and what's more, strike-ins are a breeze. It's completely airtight and it fits naturally under my arm which makes playing a real joy.

The Moose Bag just feels right and it did from the moment I began using it.

Plus...............it's compatible with my canister system!!

I've got to hand it to you, you've really nailed this one!!

Thanks again.

Hi, Jake here!!

I have found the Moose Bag extremely reliable and great that it works well with my moisture control system. It feels much more comfortable now that I'm used to the drone position and feels overall more airtight.

Cheers.

I have played the Moose Bag since October 2007 and find it to be the best pipe bag I've ever played.

For air tightness, moisture control, stability and reliability; nothing else has come close.

I find the specifically designed cut of the bag and the positioning of the drone and blowpipe collar means my pipe sits comfortably and there is never any need for hitching.

The location of the zip makes the bag easier to maintain and it holds a more natural shape.

This makes the Moose Bag a dream for both Band and Solo work.

The Moose Bag was very easy to set up, and after a bit of playing, I found my pipe sat much more naturally on my shoulder.

I was unaware of how ill-fitting my previous bag had been, but in comparison, I feel a distinct difference.

It's a deceptive but yet simple design, but a definite step towards a more comfortable bagpipe.

I have always played on sheepskin bags, and having to change my old one, I thought I might try a synthetic bag for a change. I was attracted by the publicity around the new Moose Bag, and decided to order one.

I have just fixed the Moose Bag along with a Moose Valve, and the result is incredible. Without any tube in the bag, I managed to play a couple of Piobaireachds with rock-steady drones. Of course I had to empty the valve which trapped most of the moisture, but my reeds where not affected. The Moose Valve works just great!!

I find the Moose Bag very comfortable and super airtight. Great products!!

I received a new Moose Bag at the end of 2007.

I have played it a lot and it is really good!

The Moose Bag is very robust and the positioning of all the collars makes it so comfortable to play.

The Moose Bag is all that you could want in a bag!

Ian, I got it installed!!!

The Moose Bag is exceptional! It takes a little bit of effort to get installed, but the effort is well worth it.

The fit under the arm is perfect and it almost feels like the bag is forced up under the arm as opposed to wanting to slide down. The angled grommet on the blowstick also makes it very comfortable and at the proper angle.

Another thing I was pleased with is the strength of the swan neck. On other brands, when you blow and squeeze you can feel the neck lifting upwards. This does not happen with the Moose Bag!

The angled zipper is nice too. I am very pleased and glad I have tried a Moose Bag!!
